The Nuffield Foundation

Project development

The Nuffield Primary History project was developed by Jon Nichol, the late John Fines, Jacqui Dean, Ray Verrier, and others.

The lessons are all real lessons which have been taught in real schools. Many of them have been developed by teachers as part of their continuing professional development, and a narrative style is used to describe the lesson and what happened. You can adapt these to suit your needs. See Nuffield Primary History lessons.
