About this website

This website helps teachers and children to 'do history', based on the seven key principles of Nuffield Primary History and wide range of teaching methods. Lots of free lessons to download.

We also show how to do History and Literacy and cross-curricular learning.

Jacqui Dean The website is edited by Jacqui Dean with contibutions from Jon Nichol and many practising teachers, with the assistance of Sarah Codrington. We've got over 70 lessons on the site now.

We also have lots of exemplars of teaching approaches - good ideas, but not complete fully worked-up lessons.
